Division has plagued our nation and our communities for far too long. We need leadership that takes a collaborative approach to advancing our priorities:

• Leadership that will listen to and work hand-in-hand with neighborhood leaders to identify and help address issues in our community

• Leadership that will work with the school board counterpart to help ensure that our children get the resources they need

• Leadership that will encourage corporate Birmingham to identify ways to become better partners to communities
